Setting up the Ecofarm

 

 
 

A village in Kampong Spoe province, 55 km from Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia

  Finally we got the pigs (18 fattening) and two gilts!!  
   
  Some of the oldest children help to set up the biodigester! The biodigester on the 19th May/02. It is already producing gas!!

  Moringa and trichantera trees were planted in the scavenging area of the chicken pen Wisna, the oldest boy in the group is collaborating in feeding the pigs!

  We still working in the establishment and of the crops, the soil was a rice field so the fertility is very low, we hope we can change the soil trough the recycling of the animal manure.
 Very soon the children will start to eat pork produced at the ecofarm!
