Activities in rural development

 
 

At present CelAgrid UTA-Cambodia is working in 5 provinces with the aim of contributing to long term sustainable development by establishing and strengthening grassroots organizations. Activities include building up the capacity of villagers so that they can face the challenges of social, environmental and technical changes that they face in their everyday lives.  The resultant benefits will be improvement in food security, nutrition and income. Details are given below:
 

·        Takeo: 15 villages with 450 families (Cattle, Pigs-biodigesters-vegetables- aquaculture, improved animal feed and feeding and Community Organization)

·        Kandal: 6 villages with 180 families (Pigs-biodigesters-vegetables and Community Organization)

·        Kampong Spue: 2 villages with 40 families (Cattle and cassava leaf silage and pigs-biodigesters-vegetables and Community Organization)

·        Kampong Cham: 1 village with 10 families (Cattle and cassava leaf silage)

·        Pursat: 16 villages with 4870 families (Cattle, pigs, vegetables, aquaculture, improved livestock feeding and Community Organization)
