The problem to be addressed.
Organic waste from human activities, such as food waste and agricultural activities such as horticulture, coffee production and organic wastes from the processing and enlistment of fruits and vegetables, are present in communities and cause pollution problems in the community.
Majority of cases due to their inadequate management, generating a negative environmental, economic and social impact.
We intend to join efforts among the organizations and the experience of the members of the team, to provide a series of innovative solutions in the management of this type of waste and its energy use in rural communities through the biodigestors.
Title of research project
Semi-dry biodigestion and use of hydro-washers with engines fueled with biogas as a tool to reduce water and energy footprint in sustainable small and medium-term farming systems.
